The problem

In-house products need somewhere to run and a way to get there. When they stop, someone has to be accountable, and with no separate platform team that sat with me alongside delivery.

What I did

• Set up and continue to operate the AWS estate: S3, EC2, CloudFront, Lightsail and Route 53 across in-house and client systems.
• Own the CI/CD pipelines and release management, including the Git and GitHub release process for the team.

Constraints

• Healthcare systems under ISO 27001 aligned information security controls
• No dedicated platform or SRE team
