The problem

Popular Group ran its patient-facing services across disconnected systems. There was no in-house development capability, so every change went through outside vendors. That made every change slow and expensive, and impossible to prioritise against clinical need.

What I did

• Founded CodeCure, the in-house development team, and set its hiring bar, code review process and release cadence.
• Drove the 2023 Digital Plan, consolidating group services into a single centralised ecosystem for a one-stop patient experience.
• Delivered the corporate site plus complaint, inventory, requisition and feedback systems on a shared component library, keeping the interface consistent across products.
• Introduced Agile ceremonies to a team with no prior Scrum exposure, and ran requirements gathering with marketing, operations, inventory and creative stakeholders.
